How do i find out about fundraising opportunities with Krispy Kreme?

Krispy Kreme has a Fundraising Program with many options that can help you raise money for your organization. After reviewing our Fundraising section, please contact us here for more details. Online ordering is available in some areas.

How do I purchase Krispy Kreme gift cards?

Krispy Kreme gift cards are available for purchase online at KrispyKreme.com/send-a-gift and at participating shop locations.

Can Krispy Kreme ship doughnuts to me?

We do not ship our doughnuts because we cannot ensure the freshness and quality of the product after it has been shipped. We would not want our customers to receive inferior doughnuts.

What type of shortening is used to prepare Krispy Kreme doughnuts?

Krispy Kreme uses a shortening blend that is formulated to preserve the great Krispy Kreme taste our consumers have come to expect. We use vegetable shortening (palm, soybean, and/or cottonseed and canola oil) for zero gram of trans fat per one serving of doughnut. All monoglycerides and diglycerides are vegetable based. Enzymes are also present. The lecithin we use is soy-based. Which allergens can be found in Krispy Kreme shops?

Our facilities produce products with peanuts, tree nuts, soy, milk, eggs, and wheat. We cannot guarantee that any other products are safe to consume for people with any of these allergies.
The nutrition information provided here for our standard menu items is based on Krispy Kreme Doughnut’s standardized recipes, representative values provided by suppliers, analysis using industry standard software, published resources, and/or testing conducted in accredited laboratories, and is expressed in values based on federal rounding and other applicable regulations. A number of factors may affect the actual nutrition values for each product and as such, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts cannot guarantee the nutrition information provided on this site is perfect. If you have questions about a specific menu item, please ask a manager at your local Krispy Kreme store for additional nutrition information.

Do you have procedures in place to prevent cross-contamination?

We train our team members on and follow National Restaurant Association and ServSafe sanitation practices, but there might be trace allergens in our products. We cannot guarantee that we can prevent cross-contamination and you should use your own judgment regarding your allergens when making a purchase. As some allergies can be very severe, we suggest guests with allergy or intolerance concerns consult with a health care professional before consuming our products.

Why have you gone away from being nut free?

Shops have the option of not selling certain doughnuts, but our shops are not “nut-free.” While some shops do not have products with nuts on the menu, we are not “nut-free”. We receive ingredients from suppliers who produce products with nuts and other allergens. Following national safety guidelines, we take many steps to clean machines and surfaces in our shops, but there is the possibility that trace allergens might be found in our products. As a result, we post and label known allergens and ask guests to make sure they check the post before entering our shops and labels before consuming.

Why are some shops nut-free and others not?

Shops have the option of not selling certain doughnuts, but none of our shops are “nut-free”.

As Krispy Kreme shops do contain known allergens, our guests should assume that all of our products have come into contact with ingredients such as peanuts, tree nuts, soy, milk, eggs and wheat. Does Krispy Kreme use milk products or eggs in their doughnuts?

Ingredient Information: The only animal by-products used in our doughnuts are eggs (whites and yolks) and dairy products (including milk, butter, yogurt, whey, nonfat milk and nonfat whey). Do you use sustainable palm oil?

Krispy Kreme Doughnuts remains committed to the goal of achieving 100% responsible sourcing of palm oil. Therefore, we require our shortening suppliers to be RSPO members and support the three fundamental principles of No Deforestation, No Development on Peat, and No Exploitation of People and Communities. Meeting this commitment requires our suppliers adhere to these main requirements:

• No development of High Carbon Stock forests
• High Carbon Stock (HCS) forests include: primary forests; high, medium and low-density forests; and regenerating forests. Golden Agri-Resources and SMART, in collaboration with Greenpeace and TFT, have developed and are testing a HCS framework and identification tool. Please read The High Carbon Stock Forest Study Report for more information. Krispy Kreme Doughnuts supports the multi-stakeholder scientific review process that is currently underway with HCS. No development of High Conservation Value areas
• High Conservation Value (HCV) areas contain items of biological, social or cultural value that are important to conserve, including rare, threatened and endangered species and their habitats. Please visit the HCV Resource Network website for more information;
• No burning in preparation of land or in development;
• Progressively reduce Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions on existing plantations from all sources;
• Only source from operations that comply with local, national and international laws;
• No development on peat;
• No development on peat areas regardless of depth;
• Best management practices for existing plantations on peat; and
• Respect and support the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

Although Krispy Kreme Doughnuts does not source palm oil directly from palm mills / palm plantations, we will continue to work in tandem with our suppliers to ensure continued adherence to the above principals and standards. Our current efforts are focused exclusively on our shortening suppliers as they represent greater than 95% of our palm usage. We continue to work exclusively with the RSPO on our ongoing efforts to reach our goal of responsibly sourcing 100% of our palm oil through a combination of RSPO certified segregated supply, RSPO mass balance mixed-source supply, and the purchase of RSPO Book & Claim credits—a goal we completed globally starting in 2015. Who qualifies FOR A FUNDRAISER?

Qualifications and Requirements

• All fundraising organizations must be non-partisan (no individual political party affiliation).
• Approved organizations must use the Fundraiser proceeds for the direct support of the organization. 
• Proceeds cannot be used for causes supported by the organization. 
• Proceeds must be used within the United States and cannot be sent abroad.
• Both for-profit organizations and not-for-profit organizations may be approved to conduct a Krispy Kreme Fundraiser when the Fundraiser proceeds are fully and directly used to benefit a U.S. group that is one of the following types (verification required for approval and all information provided must be accurate and complete).

EDUCATIONAL – proceeds are being used to support a school or educational institution or a school-related organization (e.g., club/student/parent group; athletics; band/choral; school equipment; student development; scholarships).
FAITH-BASED – proceeds are being used to support the faith-based-organization or its activities (e.g., youth group; missions; benevolent programs; building fund; congregational support).
CHARITABLE – proceeds are being used to support a registered 501(c) charitable organization.
COMMUNITY – proceeds are being used to support community-based activities devoted exclusively to the organization’s charitable, educational, or recreational purposes and not for individual or commercial gain.

What if there is no Krispy Kreme shop in my town?

Many customers tell us that the distance actually makes their FUNDRAISER even more profitable (their customers are especially excited to get fresh Krispy Kremes without making a special trip!).

What if we have a small group?

Krispy Kreme FUNDRAISING works for groups of most any size. With very low minimum orders (25 items), your small group can easily hold a "1-day" sale direct to the public at sports events, community activities, and even outside local businesses (with their approval)…anywhere hungry folks might gather can work!

I have completed my order and received the allocation download.  How do I send them to those that purchased beyond just sending a link?

You can copy and paste the links in an email using your personal or organizational email address.

Do I pay upfront?  

With Digital Dozens you can pre-sell and collect the money from your supporter, then submit your order online for what you have presold or you can purchase them up front and sell them to supporters and send the Digital Dozen immediately upon payment receipt to your supporter.   

What are acceptable payment methods for Digital Dozens?  

Digital Dozens are purchased online via credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express). 

What are the minimum purchase requirements?  

The minimum purchase requirement is 25 per order. 

Should I wait until I have all my orders to purchase my Digital Dozens? 

You can make multiple purchases to suit your fundraising needs – for example - if you pre-sold 30 today and purchased 30 to distribute to your supporters and next week you pre-sold 50, you could log onto your account and purchase 50 more.  Controlling your fundraiser is easy.  You can purchase what you need when you need it. 

How can I ensure I have a successful fundraiser with Digital Dozens?  

Reach out to friends and family via email, social channels and let them know about your fundraiser.  Keep a list of all your supporters, name, email address, telephone number and if their money has been collected. 

Can I have the Digital Dozens sent directly to my supporters?   

Absolutely!  Fundraising with Krispy Kreme has never been easier.  Simply collect the supporter’s information, name, email address, telephone number and the quantity they want.  When you place your order use the “send to multiple recipients” option.  It will provide you with a sample file you can enter the information of the supporters along with a personal message to send to the supporter.  Easy, Profitable, Fast!     

Once approved for Digital Dozens, is there a timeframe in which I must start and end my fundraiser?  

No, there is no timeframe. Once you have been approved, you can conduct your fundraiser at your convenience.  

What information should I include on my Digital Dozens fundraising application to ensure I am approved and would help expedite my application?  

 

• Tax ID
  • If you are raising money on behalf of an organization, reach out to your organization chair to request the tax id/EIN number for application approval.
  • This will help the application processing time 

 

• Purpose of the fundraiser
  • Please include a short sentence describing what you will be doing with the funds you raise. 
  • Example:  club/student/parent group; athletics; band/choral; school equipment

• Organization Information
  • Please include or use the organizational address and phone number you are supporting.  This information is needed to verify the organizational information.      

 

• Website or social links
  • If a Tax ID is not available, please include a website or social link that supports the organization or cause, you are fundraising to benefit.
    • Example: If your softball team, dance team etc., has a Facebook page include a link.      

Are the profits deducted from the orders before they are placed, or do we pay full price and send a check on the back end?  

Krispy Kreme Fundraising sells products to customers at a reduced retail price with a recommended resell pricing per product.  Fundraisers will sell the product at the recommended resell price and pay Krispy Kreme the reduced retail price, therefore fundraisers have their profits immediately.    

Can I pay extra, to not have the doughnuts placed in the fundraising box, but a regular box?  

Please contact the shop that will be fulfilling your fundraising order to discuss options.  

Can I use cash, check or credit card to pay for my in-shop fundraiser?

Shops accept cash, credit and debit cards.  Customers would need to consult with the individual shops regarding the acceptance of checks.  
 

Once approved for Digital Dozens, is there a timeframe in which I must start and end my fundraiser?

What do I do if a digital dozen order went to the wrong email address?  

Send an email to digitaldozensfundraising@krispykreme.com with the customer’s name, email address, contact phone number, incorrect email address used and correct email address.  

When will my supporters receive their Digital Dozen certificates?

Customers can select the “Send Now” option and supporters will receive their Digital Dozens in 10 – 15 minutes. The “Send Later” option allows customers to schedule when the Digital Dozens are to be sent – supporters should receive 10-15 minutes after date and time selected.  

Does the credit card have to be in the fundraising applicant/ business name, or can a personal credit card be used?  

On the payment screen, enter the exact Name on Credit Card you wish to use.  

Can I participate in both Digital Dozens and In Shop Fundraising at the same time? 

Yes!  Customers can do both.  The customers will need to complete both applications, one for In-shop and one for Digital Dozens.  Based on your order, if you need to request Digital Dozens less than the 25 minimum, please send an email to digitaldozensfundraising@krispykreme.com for assistance. For In-Shop orders less than the minimum please contact the shop directly for options.  

Can I have my fundraising product delivered?  

Delivery options vary. Contact your fundraising shop to discuss details and pricing.

How will the recipient know who the gift is from

Recipients will get an email to let them know they have been gifted a Dozen Doughnuts. They will see who the gift is from along with your personalized message.

What products are available to order?

You can choose between Original Glazed Dozens or Classic Assorted Dozens.

When will the recipient receive the gift?

Select the “Send Now” option and recipients will receive their Dozen in 10 – 15 minutes. The “Send Later” option allows you to schedule when the Dozen will be sent – supporters should receive 10-15 minutes after date and time selected. 

What if there isn’t delivery available?

No problem! You are still able to send a gift to your recipient. The recipient can choose a pick-up option to redeem their product and visit their nearest Krispy Kreme location.

Can my recipient redeem in-store?

Not redeemable at Krispy Kreme retail locations, grocery stores, convenience stores or any other retail locations. Redeemable as a one-time use only for the gift received via email.
